　　网络作家，著有致命系列三部曲，包括《致命弱点》《致命武器》和《致命追杀》，共一百万字。致命系列三部曲成功地将作者倡导的价值观融入到“反间防谍”的大众题材中而填补了中国间谍小说这个文学题材领域的又一空白。无论在构思还是材料使用上，都匠心独具，成为网络小说政治化的一部代表作，在网络上拥有一大批读者,包括《叛逃》《幽灵谋杀案》《中国特色的犯罪》《谍影重重》《恐怖档案》等。
　　和大多文学创作者的不同之处在于，杨恒均先生不但不是闭门造车，回避时事，而且主动积极地投入到关心社会关心政治关心国家的行列中，经常写短文揭批时弊，有些文章在网络上广为流传，如《中国再也不需要小说了》《把香港的制度引进到上海》《如果美国警察动了我的阳具》。在近作《美国为什么胆敢轰炸我驻南大使馆？》中，旗帜鲜明地作出了美国“不但站在了人类历史的正确一边，而且站在了南斯拉夫人民的那一边！”的结论。
　　杨恒均简历,推测版本
　　上网搜索，找不这位有名的网络作家的任何简历，觉得很奇怪。下面这个推测版本的简历是我从他发表的纪实文章(包括评论)中整理出来的，有些也从他的小说中得到启示，特别是主人翁——也就是那个大间谍杨文峰身上得到的。
　　杨恒均生于己于1965年。（从《伴你走过人间路》《致命武器》）
　　湖北随州人（当时的随县）。（从散文《父亲的眼泪》中的描写）
　　家庭出身：地主，父亲是老师（臭老九），母亲是医生。（从《致命弱点》《伴你走过人间路》）
　　此人幼年和童年，少年时，由于家庭出生，受到过社会和同学的多次伤害。（从散文《我的老师》，侦察破案小说“叛逃”“中国特色的犯罪”“恐怖档案”等中篇小说）
　　杨先生的父亲促使他读书，并最终成才，而他的母亲则深深影响了，使他成人。（《伴你走过人间路》《我的母亲》）
　　杨恒均高中毕业后前往复旦大学法学学士
　　杨恒均大学毕业后到北京国务院外交部工作。在那个单位里，杨先生应该接触拉一些机密，也冷言旁观了一个超级官僚机构的运作。（这些从他的所有文章里都可以看出一点）
　　上个世纪八十年代末，他到海南岛工作。（从《其实我也可以当省长》）

　　现为澳大利亚新洲华文作协、澳大利亚悉尼华文作协会员，中国山西省吕梁市农民学校教师。目前定居广州。
　　从他文章中推测的此人经历如果是准确的，那么说明此人经历非常之丰富。这一点又从他短短时间里写出那么多作品，作品又如此复杂可以看出来。
